Who may be eligible
You may qualify if you smoked at least 87,600 cigarettes from the listed tobacco companies between January 1, 1950 and November 20, 1998; were diagnosed from March 8, 2015 through March 8, 2019 with primary lung cancer, specified throat cancer, or severe emphysema/COPD; lived in Canada at diagnosis and still live in Canada; and were alive on March 8, 2019. Filing does not guarantee payment; the administrator will review the claim and supporting documents.
